Edith Senesac

Edith M. Senesac, 92, of West Lafayette, formerly of Fowler, died at Heritage Healthcare Center in West Lafayette 4:15 PM Wednesday March 6, 2013 where she had been a resident since 2004. Edith was born in Fulton County, IN. May 19, 1920, the daughter of the late John A. and Laurel Hopwood Kern and was a 1938 graduate of Fowler, IN. High School.
She married Everett C. Senesac at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. in 1944, and he preceded her in death January 11, 1964. Mrs. Senesac was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fowler; a member of Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette; and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Fowler. Edith had worked for a number of years as a waitress and prep cook at the 100 Mile House in Fowler.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Van Laere (husband Ron) of Lafayette, IN.; Marsha Senesac (husband Noureddine Berezqi of Aurora, CO.; four sons, Donald Senesac (wife Caren) of Freetown, IN.; Ronald Senesac (wife Jayne) of Logansport, IN.; Jack Senesac of Indianapolis, IN. William Senesac (wife Denise) of Lafayette, IN.; and a sister, Lorene Baird of Fulton, IN.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Charles Senesac, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Church in Fowler from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Saturday, Fr. Donald Gross officiating, with interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
