Dottie L. Holdcraft, 82, of Romney passed away at Franciscan East St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette Friday April 22, 2022. Dottie was born in Lafayette, IN March 27, 1940, and was a graduate of Lauramie Township High School. Her first marriage was to David Hoffman and he preceded her in death. She later married Alan W. Holdcraft at Lafayette in 1993 he passed away the day after Dottie on Saturday April 23. Dottie was a member of the Clarks Hill Christian Church and the Quilting Guild. She had been employed by the Monon Railroad for many years as a secretary. Surviving are three step-sons, Adrian Holdcraft (Mona) of Romney, IN; Brian Holdcraft (Leslie) of Lafayette and Cory Holdcraft of Lafayette; a nephew, Michael Dukes (Judi) of Montreal, MO; and two nieces, Linda Taylor of Southport, IN and Denise Lewis (Craig) of Witchita Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alan Kellar, Elmer and Edwin Freeman and a sister, Elsie Dukes. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, IN on Thursday May 12, 11:00 AM, Pastor Jeff Stedge officiating.
