Dorothy Budreau

Dorothy M. Budreau, 92, of Fowler, IN passed away on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at Green Hill Manor in Fowler, IN where she had resided the past three months. She was born on May 13, 1923 to the late Frank and Ida (Muller) Gross. Her marriage was to Eugene Budreau on May 20, 1947, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1973. She was a cook a numerous restaurants and a life- long member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Dunnington, IN. She is survived by three sons: Bill Budreau (Tammy) of Mulberry, IN; John Budreau and Bob Budreau (Karin) both of Boswell, IN; two daughters: Diane Budreau and Barbara Budreau, both of West Lafayette, IN; one daughter-in-law: Kathy Budreau of Oxford, IN; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Fr. Donald Gross of Fowler, IN and one sister-in-law, Judy Gross of Kentland, IN. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Beard (Harold-deceased), one son, Richard Budreau (Kathy), four brothers, Wilfred, Willard, Ted and Ronald Gross; one sister, Irene Puetz (Leonard-deceased) and one sister-in-law, Betty Gross Lah. The Rosary will be recited at 1:45 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Oxford, IN, with visitation to follow until 5 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Monday January 18 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Dunnington, IN with Fr. Donald Gross and Fr. Peter Vanderkolk officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Dunnington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
