Dolores James

Dolores N. James, 87, of Lafayette, died at St. Elizabeth East 11:09 AM Monday November 19, 2012. She had been a patient there for one day and in failing health the past year.
Dolores was born in Dundee, IN. November 4, 1925, the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Dorothy Poutz Naville, and was a 1943 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School.
She married Donald R. James at Tucson, Arizona July 2, 1949, and he survives. Dolores was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and the Purdue Retired Wives Club.
Surviving with her husband is a brother, Francis Naville of Monticello, IN. ; 3 nieces, Nancy Naville, Jeanie Klippel and Connie Pfrommer; and by 4 nephews, Robert, David, Gary and James Naville. She was preceded in death by a brother C.V. Naville, Jr. and by a sister in infancy.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette, from 11 AM until 12:30 PM Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral at 1:00 PM Friday, Fr. Jeff Martin officiating, with entombment following at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
