Diane Nichols

Diane Louise Nichols, 56, of Oxford, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2022, at Green-Hill Manor in Fowler, Indiana, where she had resided since January 2015. She was born December 9, 1966, in Lafayette, Indiana to Edwin L. Nichols and Martha A. Nichols (Burkhardt). She graduated From Benton Central High School in 1985. Diane was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who treasured her family dearly. She was an avid country music fan and a talented artist who delighted in the beauty of nature. Diane enjoyed growing up on the family farm in Oxford and was a member of the Oxford Church of Christ. Surviving are father, Edwin Nichols of Oxford; brother Jeffrey Nichols (wife, Amy) of Indianapolis; and three nephews, Cameron Nichols of Noblesville, and Caleb and Christian Nichols of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Nichols; and grandparents Hudson “Doc” Nichols and Louise Nichols (Rosenbarger) with whom she was primarily raised. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford, from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM Thursday January 5, Pastor Linda Sproull officiating. Interment will follow in Justus Cemetery in Oxford.
