David E. Riley, 70, of Oxford, IN. died at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette 8:59 AM Wednesday August 15, 2012 where he had been a patient 2 days.
David was born in Watseka, IL. February 25, 1942, the son of the late John William and Myrtle Irene Wesner Riley. He attended school in Morocco, IN. and had resided in Kentland, IN. before moving to Oxford in 1998. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 until 1966, and had worked as a carpenter for different construction companies as well as being self employed. Surviving is his fiance, Ila Hayden of Oxford, and a brother, James L. Riley of Dubois, IN. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.
