David Killin

David E. Killin, 66, of Pine Village, died at the Iliana VA Medical Center, Danville, IL. 4:55 AM Thursday Feb. 12, 2009 where he had been a patient for the past 2 weeks. Born July 14, 1942 in Lafayette, the son of Walter L. and Eleanor Kennington Killin, he resided most all of his life in Warren County, IN. where he farmed. He married Maria Lopez in El Salvador in 2001, and she survives. Mr. Killin was a graduate of Pine Village High School, was a member of the former Pine Village Lions Club, and served in the Army during the Viet Nam War. Surviving is his mother, Eleanor Killin of Pine Village, and a daughter, Kristy L. Johnson of Calera, Alabama. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Krista Brown and Bryant Johnson. Preceded in death by his father and a brother, Bob Killin. Graveside services will be held at Oxford Catholic Cemetery, Oxford, IN. 10:00 AM Monday, with American Legion Post 57 military rites.
