David Dotson

David E. Dotson, 53, of Lafayette, died at Home Hospital 3:10 P.M. Monday May 25, 2009. Mr. Dotson was born in Lafayette December 27, 1955, the son of Gordon L. and Luita L. Brown Dotson, and was a life-long Lafayette resident. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, where he attended weekly. David enjoyed fishing, especially through Fishing Has No Boundaries, as well as dancing and eating at Arni's. For the past 35 years, he worked at Greenbush Industries as an assembler. Surviving beside his parents who reside in Lafayette are a brother, Steve Dotson and a sister, Linda Crum (husband Jerry) all of Lafayette. Also surviving is a nephew, Andrew Crum (wife Carrie) of Noblesville, IN; a niece Michelle Hoard (husband Aaron) of Westfield; great-nieces Liza Hoard and Sadie Crum. David never knew a stranger, loved to hug others and enjoyed life to its fullest. He will be missed dearly by family and friends. Friends may call at St. Lawrence Catholic Church from 1:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM today, Wednesday, Fr. Dan Gartland officiating. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery.
