Danny Buck, Sr.

Danny Aaron Buck, Sr., 67, of Lafayette, died at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette 6:18 PM Tuesday December 25, 2018 after a long battle with Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome. Danny was born in Williamsport, IN July 21, 1951, the son of the late Aaron Calvin Buck and Fannie Eileen (Lee) Buck. He was a graduate of Pine Village High School and received his Associates Degree from Purdue University in drafting, and was employed as a draftsman all of his career before his illness forced his retirement. He married Nita Lou Burroughs in Attica, IN December 12, 1970 and she survives. Danny attended Christ United Methodist Church and was a member of Otterbein Masonic Lodge # 561. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Jennifer Buck of Ft. Myers, FL; a son, Danny A. Buck, Jr. of Lafayette; three sisters, Nora Gooden of Otterbein, IN; Carolyn Ransom (Terry) of Attica, IN; Sharon Lefton of Attica, IN and a brother, Rick Buck (companion Tracey) of Attica, IN. Also surviving is a grandson, Zachary Ryan Buck. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette, Saturday December 29, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by Masonic Rites at 10:30 AM and funeral service to follow, Pastor Stephanie Hanslow officiating.
