Christopher D. “Chris” Winger, 53, of rural Crawfordsville, passed away at his residence Thursday evening Sept. 14, 2017. Chris was born Sept. 26, 1963, the son of the late Frederick E. and Wilma Rita Hole Winger. He was a graduate of North Montgomery High School and had attended IUPUI Indianapolis. He was employed in the customer service department at Wal-Mart in Crawfordsville and enjoyed trap shooting. Surviving is a brother, Kevin J. Winger (wife Sandra) of Clarks Hill, IN and by three nephews and one niece as well as several aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held at Linden Cemetery Tuesday Sept. 19 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Mindy Huffman officiating. Memories and condolences may be left at www.hahngroeberfuneralhome.com.
