Candice Pierce

Candice Renee Pierce, 44, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday January 28 at Tranquility Nursing and Rehab Center in Indianapolis. She was born in El Paso, Texas July 9, 1976 to Gary R. Pierce and the late Linda L. (Dalton) Pierce. She attended Attica, IN schools and was employed by SIA as an assembly worker. The most important things in Candice’s life was her family. She leaves behind her father, Gary R. Pierce of Lafayette, IN; two daughters, Hope Wise of Lincoln, IL and Heaven Jordan of Creston, IA; a son, Shannon Wise of Crawfordsville, IN; a brother, Robert Pierce of Lafayette, IN; five sisters, Kimberly Eubanks of Greenup, IL; Sheila Hale of Lafayette, IN; Amy Talley of Greenup, IL; Bobbi Ann Tolly of Winsted, CT; and Tina Claypool of Monticello, IN. Also surviving is a grandson, Josiaha Wise, and by 31 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Pierce and a nephew, Landon Ayers. Due to current COVID -19 conditions, a private family service will be held at Harvest Chapel Church in Lafayette, with Pastor Tom Camp officiating.
