Bonnie Jewell

Bonnie I. Jewell, 59, of Oxford, IN. died at Franciscan Health, St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette 7:20 PM Wednesday Nov. 9, 2011, following a brief illness.
Bonnie was born in Portland, IN. October 17, 1952, the daughter of the late Archie and Sarah Ireland Irvin, and was one of 21 children.
She married Jerry Jewell June 2, 1973, and he preceded her in death June 2, 2009.
Bonnie was a graduate of Morton Memorial High School in Knightstown, IN. and was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church. She was employed by Benton County at the Benton County Retirement Home as a cook and housekeeper.
Surviving is a daughter, Sarah Jewell (fiancAC. Michael Troman) of Fowler, IN.; a son, Kyle Jewell of Oxford; and 2 granddaughters, Natalie and Abbygail Troman.
Her remains will be interred at Remington Cemetery, Remington, IN. at 2:00 PM (EST) Friday Nov. 18, followed by a memorial service at the Oxford United Methodist Church on Saturday Nov. 19 at 11:00 AM (EST), Rev.
