Beverly Englert

Beverly Jane Englert, 78, of West Lafayette, died at Heritage Healthcare 4:30 AM Thursday June 3, 2010 where she had been a patient the past 10 days. Born in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, December 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Russell and Margaret E. Clark Thompson, she was a life- long area resident, and attended Stockwell, IN. schools. Her marriage was to Charles Englert in Lafayette May 12, 1956, and she preceded him in death August 22, 2002. Mrs. Englert was a homemaker, but had worked outside the home as a housekeeper for the Silver and Winski families. Surviving is a daughter, Sheron Englert of Indianapolis, IN.; 3 half-sisters, Patricia "Pat" Storms (husband Joe) of Lafayette, IN.; Carol Marks (husband Sam) of Winamac, IN.; Gloria Ann Schimmel (husband George) of Frankfort, IN.; 3 half brothers, Russell Thompson (wife Karen) of Frankfort, IN.; Lee Biesecker (wife Sue) of Mulberry, IN. and Art Biesecker of Richmond, IN. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St. from 11 AM until the service at 1:00 PM Saturday, Pastor Chester Tague officiating, with interment to follow at Concord Cemetery.
