Beth Borsching

Beth Ann Borsching, 44, of Lafayette, died at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette 10:20 AM Friday December 27, 2013. Beth Ann was born in Lafayette October3, 1969, the daughter of David L. and Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Parker Drerup. She was a graduate of Palatine High School, Palatine, IL. and attended Illinois State University at Bloomington-Normal, IL. Mary Beth had most recently resided in Geneva, NY the past 15 years, and returned to Lafayette in February of this year. She married Robert "Rick" Borsching in Geneva, NY September 20, 2006, and he survives. Mary Beth was diagnosed with Frederich's Ataxia at the age of eleven, but maintained a very positive outlook on life. She enjoyed the outdoors, and when she was younger liked to go camping, visiting state parks and amusement parks, as well as the company of her dog, Samantha. Mary Beth had been employed as a child care provider in a day care, and had also worked for Abby Industries, both in New York. Surviving with her parents, David and Kathy, who reside near Oxford, IN are two brothers, David Scott Drerup of Clifton Springs, NY and Daniel Paul Drerup (wife Amber) of Lafayette. Also surviving is a niece, Annie Drerup and five nephews, Timothy, Matthew, Davey and Joe Drerup; and Lief Burrell. Friends may call at St. Lawrence Church one hour prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 PM Thursday Jan. 2, Fr. Dan Gartland officiating.
