Anna Florence Stephenson, 92, of Lafayette, died at St. Anthony's Healthcare 10:45 AM Tuesday May 31, 2011. Mrs. Stephenson was born in Wallace, Fountain County, Indiana March 14, 1919, the daughter of the late Ivan M. and Anna D. Myers Allen, and was a graduate of Wallace High School. She married Eugene M. "Steve" Stephenson at Wallace, IN. November 16, 1941, and he preceded her in death September 10, 1996. Mrs. Stephenson retired in 1983 from Sears, Roebuck after 25 years of employment. Surviving is a daughter, Peggy Brouwer (Husband Gerald) of Lafayette, IN.; a son, Robert Stephenson (wife Donna) of Lafayette, IN. and a sister, Margaret Dibert (husband Wayne) of Ft. Wayne, IN. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Stephenson, 2 brothers, Wilbur & Paul Allen, and by 2 sisters, Mildred & Mary Allen. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 10 AM until the serive at 11:00 AM Saturday, Pastor Joseph Park officiating, with interment to follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
