Ann M. Robinson, 88, died peacefully surrounded by family on June 21, 2021. She had been in deteriorating health for the past few months. She was born in Carbondale, PA on April 22, 1933, the daughter of Vincent B. Carden and Alice M. (Langan) Carden. She graduated from St. Rose High School (1950) and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing (1953), Carbondale, PA. She was the head nurse of medicine at Albany (NY) Medical Center where she met her future husband, Dr. Frederick C. Robinson. Frederick (Robby) and Ann were married at our Lady of Angels Church, Albany, NY on May 26, 1962. He proceeded her in death in 2004. She has two children, Dr. Mary Bridget Robinson-Riegler (Gregory Robinson-Riegler) of Minneapolis, MN and Dr. F. Patrick Robinson (Michael Kowalsky) of Chicago, IL. She lived in many places around the country, but called Lafayette, IN home since 1973. She managed her husband’s medical practice, Lafayette Neurology, until their retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish and was involved in multiple ministries and service activities for the Parish and the Lafayette Catholic Schools throughout her life. She was devout in her Catholic faith, proud of her Irish heritage, and devoted to the happiness and success of her family. She was a doer and a goer and enjoyed nothing more than a party with family and her extensive circle of friends. The Rosary will be recited at 4:45 PM Friday June 25, with visitation following until 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 10:30 AM Saturday June 26 with Fr. Matthew Kalu officiating. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
