Andrew Gick

Andrew James “AJ” Gick, 46, of Lafayette, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday evening August 16 at his residence. He was born in Lafayette, IN January 28, 1975, the son of Andrew Conrad Gick and Linda J. (Brown) Gick and was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. AJ was an electrician, last employed by Woltcom in the telecommunications indudtry and was a member of the IBEW. He enjoyed drag racing, and co-owned a super-pro dragster with his father. Surviving is his father and step-mother, Andrew Conrad and Judy Gick of Ft. Wayne, IN; his mother and her friend Linda J. Gick (David Hogg) of Lafayette, IN; a son, Jacob Campbell of Dayton, IN; and by two sisters, Margaret Renea Price (David) of Lafayette and Misty Gick of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Haynes. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette, IN from 5 until 7 PM Monday August 23. Funeral services will be held at Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home 1:00 PM Tuesday August 24, Fr. Peter Vanderkolk officiating, with interment in St. Boniface Cemetery.
