A. Gray

A. Marian Gray, 92, of Pine Village, IN. died at Woodland Manor Healthcare Center in Attica, IN. Sunday January 22, 2012 at 3:35 PM, where she had been a patient the past year.
She was born in Warren County, IN. May 27, 1919, the daughter of the late Ben and Zula Hickman Neal, but was raised by her aunt and uncle, Goldie (Neal) and Garfield Bartlett. Marian was a graduate of Pine Village High School, and the Royal Beauty Academy in Indianapolis.
She married Elwyn L. Gray at Rainsville, IN. February 16, 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1975.
Marian owned and operated Gray Electric and Plumbing with her husband in Pine Village, and she retired in 1995. She was a member of Pine Village Christian Church; a member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Pine Village; member and past chief of the Pythian Sisters; and a member of the Homemakers Club in Pine Village.
Surviving is a son, David E. Gray (wife Valerie) of Pine Village, IN.; a daughter, Denise E. Long (husband Gene) of Lebanon, IN.; a brother, Harrison Neal of Pine Village, IN., 4 granddaughters, Teresa Loft; LeAnn Meyer; Laura Ping and Breh Long; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, 1 brother and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at the Pine Village Christian Church from 11 AM until the service at 1PM Wednesday, Rev. Paul Stamm officiating, with interment to follow in Rainsville Cemetery.
