A. Pauline "Polly" Clark, 90, of Lafayette, IN died at Mulberry Health and Retirement Center in Mulberry 2:16 AM Friday March 25, 2016. Polly was born in Holland, MI July 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Michael and Bessie Grubbs Howard. She was raised in Crawfordsville, IN and was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. Her first marriage was to Charles Edwin Clark in Crawfordsville, and he preceded her in death April 7, 1977. She then married Kenneth Bell, and he died April 6, 1980. Later, she married Bradford Shinkle, and he preceded her in death. Polly attended Trinity United Methodist Church and had worked as a medical assistant for Anesthesiologist's , Inc. and had also been employed in the Forestry Department at Purdue University and also the Tippecanoe County Public Library. Surviving is a son, David Allen Clark (wife Beth) of Indianapolis, IN; and by two daughters, Anita Jane Weston (husband John) of Lafayette and Patricia Ann Carlson (husband Brent) of Grand Junction, CO. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Guilkey, and two sisters, Elizabeth Polk and Evelyn Krug. A private family entombment will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Rev. William L. Scott officiating. The family requests memorials to the Alzheimers Foundation or the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home is caring for the family.
